Call for Television Programme Application
Education 22 January to May 2010


The Management Committee of Education Channel 22 is inviting interested
production houses to submit proposals for a series of 17 programmes of
direct teaching on E22 between January and May 2010.

Areas will focus on:

1. Thirty minutes revision programmes for Mathematis, Science and languages
in preparation for the SEC examinations . The aim is to support fifth form
students in their revision for SEC.

2. Production of a daily 45 minute program on the theme do it yourself. This series aims at promoting hands on learning to manage useful everyday needs.

3. The station is also interested in receiving proposals for other programmes that are within the remit of the station especially if the programmes finance themselves.

Financial aspect

Financial proposal should be included. The proposal should not include studio and teacher costs as these shall be provided by E22.

Evaluation criteria

All proposals will be evaluated by the Management Committee. The committee will use the following criteria in its evaluation process:

The relevance of the proposal to the station’s mission statement
   
Its quality, originality and creativity
   
Its educational value
   
Its aesthetic and technical quality
   
A guarantee that the programme is free from stereotypes related to gender, race and age.
   
Its skilful use of the Maltese language in the script

The station is also interested in receiving proposals for other programmes that are within the remit of the station especially if the programmes finance themselves.

Proposals are to reach the Head, Education Channel 22, Mile End Rd. Hamrun, HMR 1716, by not later than Wednesday, 11th November 2009 at noon.

2. Produzzjoni ta’ programmi ta’ tlett kwarti kuljum b’tema midd idejk.
L-ghan tal-programm hu li nressqu lil kull min hu nteressat lejn taghlim li jghinu/a jmidd idejh fil-bzonnijiet tal-hajja ta’ kuljum. Il-programm ghandu jaghti sodisfazzjon lil min jipprova.
Udjenza: kulhadd

3. Education 22 interessat ukoll fi proposti ghall-programmi relatati ma Edukazzjoni, Kultura, zaghazagh u Sports specjalment jekk dawn il-programmi jiffinanzjaw lilhom infushom. .

Il-kwalità, originalità u kreatività tal-proposta
   
Il-valur edukattiv tal-proposta
   
Il-mod tekniku u estetiku ta’ kif ser jigi pprezentat il-programm
   
Garanzija li f’dak li qed jigi propost ma hemm l-ebda sterjotipi ta’ gens, sess, razza jew età
   
Il-Malti miktub fl-iscript hu mhaddem u uzat b’certa hila.

Il-Proposti ghandhom jaslu ghand:-

Il-Kap, Education 22, Triq Mile End, il-Hamrun, HMR1716,
sa mhux aktar tard minn nhar l-Erbgha, 11 ta’ Novembru 2009 f’nofs inhar.

Il-Kumitat tat-Tmexxija jirriserva d-dritt li jirrifjuta anke l-aktar proposta vantaggjuza.
