Young Enterprise - (Malta)

Young Enterprise Malta

YOUNG ENTERPRISE (YE) is a unique initiative which gives valuable experience to young people (both males and females in the range of 16 to 18 years) through the running of their own companies whilst being supported by volunteers from the business community. It also builds life skills and character. YE is a learning experience for everyone involved and it is an experience of life changing proportions. It takes place between the month of October and May on an annual basis.

The idea of Young Enterprise first originated in the USA but was then brought over to the United Kingdom where it was adapted to suit the European Culture and way of conducting business. Malta is one of 19 countries who are currently members of Young Enterprise Europe. The other Member Countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
