Skolasajf

Skolasajf programme runs from mid-July to the first week in September.  It caters for primary school pupils (from Year 4 to Year 6) in both state and non-state schools.  Children with special needs are also admitted in the mainstream.  All Skolasajf Centres open daily from Monday to Friday between 9.00 and noon.  All activities are centred around the promotion of creative work by children.

Projects operating within Skolasajf

Klabbsajf - a project for Year-Two pupils who during the respective scholastic year were receiving complementary education.

Special Schools - Centres are opened for special needs children who during the scholastic year attend special centres.

Regional Twinning

Maltese centres are encouraged to twin up with Gozitan centres and organise joint activities.

Centre-Based Talent Shows

All Skolasajf Centres organise centre-based Talent Shows. Parents are invited to attend so as to see for themselves how their children are occupied during the summer weeks.

Community Chest Fund

Throughout the whole duration of Skolasajf, pupils are encouraged to collect money on a voluntary basis in aid of the Community Chest fund.  Such an activity has always proved to be very successful.  The amount collected is presented to H.E. the President at the end of Summer.
