The name chosen for our school is Patri Tumas Xerri. This name was chosen because Patri Tumas Xerri worked very hard to improve the lives of people in Bahrija and he was the first person to run a school within the church premises in March 1944.
Our Mission Statement is to provide for the development of the whole individual dealing with the development of intellectual, social, emotional and physical domains and the recognition of fundamental rights and responsibilities.

Our school Council is made up of 3 teachers, 3 parents, Head of School and the President.
There are approximately 100 students in school. The catchment area is scattered. Children come by vans from Mtaħleb, Binġemma, Kunċizzjoni and Baħrija.
We have 1 class of each. Our school is school C. There is no streaming and each class caters for mixed abilities
