B'Buġa Primary School ‘B' takes students aged eight to eleven from Years Four to Six. Presently it has a population of 333 students. There are 15 classes, five in each Year Group.

The teaching staff consists of the Head of School, two Assistant Heads, fifteen teachers and six facilitators. Other support staff are two part-time clerks and three general hands

The school ethos is regarded highly by the administration, teachers, parents and students. A definite effort is being made to focus on students' self-esteem and emotional problems, when present. In fact the school is participating in the S.E.N.T. Project. Both students and parents are reaping great benefits from this participation.

Drama, sports and extra curricular activities form an integral part of the curriculum. The Prize Day programme always features musical and dramatic representations in which the majority of students participate. The girls' netball and volleyball teams as well as the boys' football team participate in national school tournaments and have a very good record.
