Our school is named after the beatified Dun Ġorg Preca and is situated in Ġuże' Pace Street in Ħamrun. The current school's Headmistress is Ms J. Aquilina and the Assistant Head is Mr J. Micallef.

The school's building is about eighty years old with classrooms around a large central courtyard. These accommodate an average of 240 students in 13 classes.

The teachers, facilitators and peripatetic teachers give stimulating lessons and child-centered activities with great dedication.

During the year various activities are held including Book Fairs, Sports day and many more. However, the most awaited is the Prize Day, where a great number of pupils are awarded book prizes for excelling in Creativity, Leadership, Effort and outstanding examination results. On that day a play is presented together with the school's choir.

Students are frequently taken out on educational visits, where they can see for themselves what they learn off textbooks and appreciate Malta's historical heritage.

We also have a School Council made up school staff and parents. These give their suggestions and help in various useful projects.

With our school's motto of

we ensure that the friendly, but disciplined environment prepares our students to be good citizens apart from being academically qualified.
