Primary School, President Anton Buttigieg, Qala, Gozo has a student population of 125 children ranging from the Kindergarten classes to year 6. There is one class for each year group. The teaching complement is made up of 6 teachers, 3 kindergarten assistants, 1 facilitator and the Head of School, Mr. Norman Grech.

The mission statement of the school emphasises the holistic development of the pupils. So besides placing due emphasis on the academic aspects of the curriculum, extra curricular activities are regularly held and the pupils' participation is strongly encouraged.

In conjunction with Qala Local Council, Qala Primary School has a twinning agreement with Sauna, a group of islands of the Sicilian Coast. Exchange visits are regularly held.
