Profs Guze' Aquilina Primary School and Special Unit are called after the late Professor who was born in Munxar and received his primary education at Sannat Primary School, as it was previously called. The school caters for children from Sannat and Munxar.

The primary section with 210 children has two streams. 62 children attend the Kindergarten classes. The Special Unit caters for 18 children with Special needs, and form part of the school buildings.

The staff of both sections is made up of fifty members.
