Antonio Sciortino Primary ‘B’ found in Bishop Caruana Street has a mission statement to develop good ways of educating children by offering the best facilities, physical, educational and moral to the children, thus ensuring the best learning opportunities. Hence the school development plan for 2001/2002 will deal with The Implementation of the National minimum Curriculum, Creative Writing and the Effective Use of PowerPoint.

The school population is 330. The academic staff consists of fourteen teachers and four facilitators. The school council meets regularly to discuss and implement issues and activities. An average of 50 students a year continue their studies in Junior Lyceums/private secondary schools.
