What are the possibilities of teaching in Malta?

Teachers who are EU Nationals may apply for the post of regular teachers when the applications are issued towards April/May. Throughout the year they may also apply for the post of supply teacher. Such applications may be found on the education website, http://www.education.gov.mt/ministry/forms

“Teachers who are Non-EU Citizens may apply for the post of Supply Teacher provided they acquire a work permit from the Employment & Training Corporation (ETC)”.

What are the possibilities of enrolling children in Maltese schools?

Both EU and Non-EU Nationals interested in enrolling their children in Maltese State Schools have to register them with the Accounts Section at the Education Division, after which they will be required to undergo a medical test. They will then be posted in the schools respective to their place of residence. Children of Non-EU Nationals will also be requested to pay the necessary fees.
