Before filling in the application please read carefully the following notes.

1. This application must be made by the employer. Applications are to be signed only by a Director or a person holding a senior managerial position in the establishment concerned.

2. Where an expatriate's services are required beyond twelve months an application for the extension of his/her employment licence must be submitted six months before it is due to expire. In the case of a licence with a validity period of less than twelve months but more than three months, an application for an extension is to be sent three months before it is due to expire.

3. In accordance with the Immigration (Residence Permits and Employment Licences) (Fees) Regulations, 1993 - Legal Notice No. 15 of 1993, as subsequently amended, the following fees are payable for:

an application for an employment licence -

the issue/renewal of an employment licence valid for -
   One Year Lm15
   Two Years Lm60
    Three Years Lm45
   An Indefinite Period Lm75
      
Cheques should be made payable to  
      
  The Director, Citizenship and Expatriate Affairs  

4. No fee is due when a request for the extension of a licence is made.
